Baerbel Johnson to speak at CO -PAL -AM Spring Seminar
Colorado Chapter, Palatines to America (CO-PAL-AM) is having their Spring All-Day Seminar on Saturday, 26 April 2008. The event will feature key speaker, Baerbel Johnson. Baerbel was born in Germany and is a professional genealogists. She works at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City as an International Reference Consultant and holds degrees in Family and Local History and Sociology from BYU.

9:00-10:20 - “What I’ve Always Wanted to Know About German Research, but . . .” a discussion moderated by Bill Nix.
9:00-10:20 - “Basic German Genealogical Research” presented by Ann Lisa Pearson.
10:30-11:40 - “Strategies For Solving German Research problems” presented by Baerbel Johnson.
Buffet Luncheon
Afternoon Schedule:

1:00-2:20 - “German Research on the Internet” presented by Baerbel Johnson.
2:40-4:00 - “Avoiding Mistakes in German Research” present by Baerbel Johnson.
The seminar is will held at the Holiday Inn - Lakewood, 7390 W. Hampden (S. E. Corner of Wadsworth and W. Hampden). Cost for the seminar is $35 members, $45 non-members. Pre-registration is necessary.
