Fall workshops at NARA
The National Archives-Rocky Mountion Region will be offering six workshops on 24, 25, & 26 September 2007.
The topics will be:
Monday, 24 September
9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. “The Internet and the Genealogist: Using Government Computer Resources to Research Ancestors” presented by Lori Cox-Paul.
1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. “Non-Census Research at NARA’s Rocky Mountain Region” presented by Rick Martinez.
Tuesday, 25 September
9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. “Foreswearing All Other Allegiances: Naturalization in the United States from 1790-Present” presented by Marene Baker.
1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. “How to Find Your Confederate Ancestors: Civil War Records” presented by Bill Nix.
Wednesday, 26 September
9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. “Using Federal Land Records: How to Find Homestead and Other Land Entries” presented by Andrew Senti.
1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. “Using Bureau of Indian Affairs Records to Trace Your Native American Ancestry” presented by Eric Bittner.
