The Genealogist’s Guide to Researching Tax Records is scheduled to be released soon by Heritage Books, Inc. of Westminster, Maryland. The book is co-authored by two local genealogists, Susan Winchester and Carol Darrow, CG. Susan holds a Ph.D. degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder and is a Certified Public Accountant. She is a member of the Colorado Genealogical Society (CGS) and volunteers at the Family History Center in Northglenn. Carol is a certified genealogist living in Denver. She is a well-known speaker in Colorado and has been an active member of CGS for a number of years. She is the CGS Education Director, Newsletter Editor, and she also helps coordinate the annual seminar.

The Genealogist’s Guide to Researching Tax Records will give you the techniques to locate, read, and understand the valuable information in tax records. It includes examples from New England, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Tennessee, Arkansas, Texas, Arizona and more.
