Genealogy humor on a hot summer day

If you feel like taking a break from the heat with a little genealogy humor, visit Joe Beine’s Genealogy Fun and Proof that Rock Stars are Vampires.

Joe lives in Denver and has a variety of Web pages with Genealogy tips, articles, and research guides. He also has a blog about Cemeteries and Cemetery Symbols which was featured in a post here August 2006.

Here are a couple of other sites with genealogy humor.

Three Colorado genealogists, Birdie Holsclaw, CG, Julie Miller, CG, and Roberta “Bobbi” King, will be lecturing at the FGS Conference and the Association of Professional Genealogists Professional Management Conference, which is a pre-conference to the FGS conference held on 15 August in Ft. Wayne.

If you would like more information about registration, program, and other events, go to the FGS Conference Web site.

Bobbi King, a member of the FGS Board of Directors, will put potential roommates for the 2007 conference in touch with each other via email. For further information about this service go to FGS Roommate Service.
