Colorado Genealogical Society Seminar to feature John Phillip Colletta
John Phillip Colletta, Ph.D. will be the featured speaker at the Colorado Genealogical Society’s annual seminar on 16-17 March 2007.
Dr. Colletta is a nationally recognized speaker and author. He is the author of They Came in Ships: A Guide to Finding Your Immigrant Ancestor’s Arrival Record, Finding Italian Roots: The Complete Guide for Americans, and Only a Few Bones: A True Account of the Rolling Fork Tragedy and Its Aftermath.
Friday night’s program will take place during the Society’s regular meeting held at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 2300 S. Patton Court, Denver. From 6 - 7:15 pm there will be a Meet & Greet Session and Book Signing with Dr. Colletta. He will then present a program based on his book, Only a Few Bones - “How to Turn a Juicy Family Story into a Book (and a Career!).” The meeting is free and open to the public.
Saturday’s program will be held at the Denver Public Library Conference Center, 13th and Broadway, Denver. The cost of the all day seminar is $30, with an optional lunch offered.
