The Black Genealogy Search Group (BGSG) will present the 5th Annual Heritage Festival “Solving the Mysteries of the Past: Genealogy Searches & Researches” on Saturday, 7 October 2006.

Scheduled events are:

10:00-11:30 a.m. - Robert Greer, Mystery Author. Will describe the relationship of writing a mystery novel and solving the mysteries of family research. Available for book signing.

11:15-11:45 a.m. and 3:00-3:45 p.m. - Mysteries of the Federal Census.

1:00-2:00 p.m. - Marie Taylor, Family History Library, will present “Researching your African American Roots in the 19th Century.”

Displays by the National Archives, Colorado Genealogical Society, CGS/Computer Interest Group (CIG), and BGSG. BGSG members will display their family research and DNA results.
