Volunteers from the Fore-Kin Trails Genealogical Society have completed more abstracts of marriage records for the USGenWeb archives of Montrose County. These abstracts have some advantages over the recently published statewide index because they are arranged chronologically, and are based on the original records in the courthouse. Chronological order allows the researcher to see the marriages in context, such as this possible double wedding between brothers and sisters:
