Spring Workshops at National Archives

The National Archives-Rocky Mountion Region will be offering six workshops on May 8, 9 & 10.

The topics will be:

Monday, 8 May
9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. “Genealogical Research Using Census Records”
1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. “Non-Census Research at NARA’s Rocky Mountain Region”

Tuesday, 9 May
9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. “Foreswearing All Other Allegiances: Naturalization in the United States from 1790-Present”
1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. “Using Bureau of Indian Affairs Records to Trace Your Native American Ancestry”

Wednesday, 10 May
9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. “Using Federal Land Records: How to Find Homestead and Other Land Entries”
1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. “Modern Tools for Historical Records: Using Government Computer Resources to Research Ancestors”

Classes will held in Building 48 of the Denver Federal Center, 6th Ave. and Kipling Streets, Lakewood. Pre-registration is required and the cost is $10 per class. For more information, call (303) 407-5740.
