Here are some important events coming up in the next two months:

• 11 February - Museum of Western Colorado (George Schweitzer)
• 26 February - Jewish Genealogical Society of Colorado (Gary Mokotoff)
• 18 March - Colorado Genealogical Society Annual Seminar (Mark Lowe)

Heritage Creations, the company that publishes Heritage Quest Magazine and Genealogy Bulletin, is in the process of filing for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. Leland Meitzler, the owner of Heritage Creations, reports that Heritage Quest Magazine and Genealogy Bulletin has a large subscription base and will probably be taken over by someone else. By default, Heritage Creations will revert back to ProQuest, the former owners.
It is not known how many Coloradans have subscriptions but only time will tell if the magazine and bulletin will be published again.
