Douglas County Marriage Index Online

The Douglas County Clerk and Recorder’s Office now has an index of Douglas County marriages on their Public Document Access website. The records start on 8 May 1881 and end in November 2005. This fills in the gap between the CD-ROM index published by the Colorado Genealogical Society in 2004, Colorado Marriages, 1858-1939 and the Colorado State Marriage Index which starts in 1975.
The records can be searched using partial entries and includes all pertinent information such as name of bride and groom, date of application, date of marriage, license number, book and page. The index can be accessed at the Douglas County Public Document website.
